How to Trigger
A Toxic Wild symbol lands anywhere on the 6×5 grid during base or bonus play.
What Happens
When a Toxic Wild lands, it irradiates 1-3 random adjacent positions in base game (2-6 during Wasteland Free Spins). Those neighbouring symbols mutate into wilds and stay wild for the duration of the Rad Respin chain. A Toxic Wild placed centrally can transform an entire 7-symbol pocket into wilds in a single spread. Multiple Toxic Wilds spread independently — two of them three positions apart can wipe out the whole middle section of the grid.
Multipliers
No multiplier on the spread itself, but the wild flood feeds Rad Respins, which feed the Mutation Multiplier during bonus.

Single Toxic Wild on any spin: ~1 per 8 spins. Two on same spin: ~1 per 70. Center-position spread of 3: ~1 per 22 Toxic Wild appearances.

Awards 10 free spins. Two things change: Toxic Wild spread doubles to 2-6 adjacent positions, and a Mutation Multiplier counter starts at 1x. Each winning cluster — including every cluster inside a Rad Respin chain — adds +1x to the multiplier. The counter never resets between spins; it only climbs across the full 10-spin round. A 5-cluster respin chain on spin 6 alone can lift the multiplier from, say, 9x to 14x.

Mutation Multiplier starts at 1x, climbs +1x per cluster, no cap, no reset. Typical end-of-round multiplier: 6x-12x. High-tail outcome: 25x-40x+ on chain-heavy rounds.

The multiplier applies to the next cluster payout — so spin 1 wins at 1x, but the cluster after that pays at 2x, the next at 3x, and so on. With Toxic Wilds doubled in the bonus, dense wild floods chain into 4-6 clusters in a single respin, each one ratcheting the counter higher. The progression is multiplicative against cluster pays, which is how 50x cluster wins late in the round become 500x-800x payouts.
